Bobbanapalli Philip Kumar gave his life to Jesus Christ at the age of twenty. After learning in the Lord and teaching children in his local church ministry, Philip was in Bible College from 1994-1997. He married his wife, Rachel Glory, on May 31, 2000 and they started their own ministry together. It did not take long before they had one hundred people joining with them for church services.
They have two sons, Mojes Dass (on the right) and Stepehn Dass (on the left).
Street ministry is an important passion for Philip and Rachel. They have grown a strong ministry as a family, reaching the poor, widows and orphans in their community.
James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Philip and Rachel kept doing the work of the ministry and as the church and street ministry grew, it became necessary to establish the church for help in leadership and assistance. In their search for an organization they reached out to Bless Ministries of Mobile, USA. We exchanged information, became involved in their ministry in Vadapalli, and on May 2, 2016, their ministry was established as Bless Ministries Church of Vadapalli, India.
We issued the church an establishment letter and Pastor Philip a certificate license as a minister of the Gospel.
Pastor Philip has extended the ministry into other villages and communities.
They other ministers under their leadership with more waiting to become partners.
Pastor Philip has a vision for Bless Ministries Church of Vadapalli to help educate both children and adults so they can rise above the conditions of poverty and hopelessness. Many in the nation of India feel they have no hope they can change anything about their given station in life. The culture is hard, keeping them in a state of hopeless despair. Pastor Philip wants Bless Ministries to assist him in building schools to educate the children; homes for the elderly, needy and orphans; and a bible college to build up workers for ministry. Then he wants to have a vocation school so people can learn business skills, build businesses, and have means for working to grow an economy for the village and rural communities they minister to.
Bless Ministries has partnered with Pastor Philip and the Bless Ministries Church of Vadapalli in order to help them develop their vision.
