Abundant Favour Christian Ministries International
Buyinia, Uganda
While in school I received a lot of resistance because I was much older than the other children in my grade level. The other children would laugh at me, but I had to persist in spite of the opposition I received at school and at home.
Even the church I attended for Sunday School lessons made me feel inferior and rejected because they discriminated toward me due to being an orphan. There was no difference between the church's actions and what I received from the school.
I never gave up and kept going to school. This led to me being saved. I am thankful for the primary and secondary teachers that encouraged me with advice in class, it helped me to not be discouraged.
The home I was staying in wanted to force me into marrying a fishermen. The fisherman did not feel children should be force into early marriages and would not marry me. The church did not help in these matters because I was looked at as a less important person than the church members. But God was faithful to me and shaped me to be what He needed of me so I could accomplish his noble task.
When I finished my advanced level of school, I had to find some type of work that would allow me the finances to enroll in the university. In another village I found a secondary school that allowed me to volunteer as a teacher for the children. One of the students who was having to live in hard conditions touched my heart and I reached out to assist her. I thank God for his faithfulness and grace in my life. I was successful in helping this young girl finish her diploma in social works and social administration, even though I was in need myself.
After acquiring my diploma in Local Government Finance Management, I received a ministry opportunity working in a child ministry for a local church. This enabled me to rent a room and adopt children so I could attend to their needs. I named the family I was building the Hope Family, even though I was still single. I loved to care and support my newly adopted family that was made up of twelve boys and seven girls. It was from this Hope Family that God gave me the vision that has become the Favour Christian Ministries International. I was given Proverbs 31:8-9 which says, “Speak for them, protect the rights of all who are helpless. Speak for them and be a righteous judge. Protect the rights of the poor and needy."
I became friends with a man who was taking care of a family of eight orphans of brothers and sisters. He had two other orphans and a widow he was caring for also. We have been working together, praying for each other, and using our resources to ensure all of our orphans and widows are nurtured, loved, and cared for. We realized we were becoming too large for only two people, so we organized and registered as a CBO. We now have thirteen people working with us.

We are looking for donors who will support our work, so we search for possibilities to bring our story to a much larger scope of people. We found Bless Ministries of Mobile, Alabama, in the United State and reached out to them for help and exposure. They have been kind enough to post this webpage so we can been seen by people all over the world.
Please pray how you can help us in this great work we are doing. Consider what the Lord would have you do and select the donate button. Please enter my name in the notes of the donation form.
God bless you and remember to pray for us.
