Becoming the Blessing

In Romans 12:14 we are taught to "…bless and curse not." We are to live so we can be everyone's blessing. Every day you should exist in order to be the blessing for your family, your work, your school, your church, and anyone else you come in contact with; work to be their blessing. This is a life style we should endorse because of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
This is not a religious concept.
Religion is organized thoughts of what man thinks God is, being injected into human society. Faith on the other hand, is being filled with God as you take on God's nature.
God desires for us to live full, victorious, abundant lives.
Our ministry is designed to help people learn how to do just that.
We show how to use spirit things in such a manner daily life experiences are controlled by you. Religion holds back from the purpose God has for those who believe. God intends for us to take charge of our lives instead of being defeated and beat down all the time.
We should life so our life, spirit, soul, and body, is a blessing and not a curse.
1. Making the Things of God a Part of Who You Are
One of our main goals in Bless Ministries Mobile is to help you become more aware of the blessings of God and how to experience them being manifested in your life.
Understanding the blessings of God and actually having them manifested in your life depends upon you trusting God. The Bible says, "...without faith it is impossible to please him..." (Hebrews 11:6). In God's loving kindness he desires to bless those who please him. The last part of Hebrews 11:6 reads, ", and he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him." Trusting God and doing the things he teaches in the Bible is where we should live and have our being. Romans 1:17 reads, "The just shall live by faith."
Most people are not condition to receive the blessings of God.
When we are in some conflict we tend to turn to God and ask him for help otherwise, God is not a part of most people's daily lifestyle.
Pleasing God is not a part time thing. Pleasing God is a way of life we call "walking in faith" or "walking in the spirit". Christian people today tend to be embarrassed when the subject of God is brought up.
We are told we cannot talk about God or Jesus at work, in our schools, or it is not politically correct to speak about religious things in public.
It should be the other way around.
Telling about the wonderful things of God and what is happening in your life should be the very things we do talk about. Excitement over being blessed by God, receiving things from the Lord, and the great joys of being under the grace of God through our Lord Jesus Christ is the greatest things that can happen to anyone. Why would we not want to tell people about these things? Romans 1:16 "I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. . ."
One reason people do not talk about God and his blessings is they are not use to talking about it. We talk about things that are part of us: our families, work, recreations, and so on. To have conversation about God and the things of God you must be willing to talk about them. You have to share the wonders of God as you learn of them and experience them. Becoming comfortable talking about things Christians say or the things of God comes as you talk about them more and more. Romans 1:16 reads, "I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ". You become "not ashamed" as you talk more about Him in your everyday conversations.
The reason people do not talk openly about the great things of God is they are not part of who people are. Proverbs 23:7 says, "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he". This teaches us that what is in a person's heart is who they are. If you do not have anything of God in you, you will not be comfortable talking about him.
You have to spend time putting things in such as faith, spiritual understanding, Godly wisdom, then things start coming out. If things of God are part of you, they will come out. You won't have to think about it, just talk about what is part of you and they will spill out. Especially if you are excited about it.
If you talk openly about faith and the great things taking place in your life through Jesus Christ, you will be able to stand in faith when the time comes you need to stand. People who are not open about the things of God have difficulty responding with faith when they need to. We don't need to be embarrassed when people talk about the wonders of God. We should be able to join right in and share things also. The more you talk openly, the more you will enjoy what it means to be a Christian and a child of God.
2. God's Blessings
The main objective of all religious activity is to have the blessings of God demonstrated in one’s life. To actually experience God manifesting his goodness upon you is the ultimate spiritual experience. Even those who do not know God as their father and savior, look to something they worship as a god, and seek blessings for sacrifices or service rendered to that deity. These blessings are longed for because our human experience leaves us weak and unable to obtain holiness, peace, love, knowledge, goodness, kindness, and joy; which are attributes of God.
The more you see who God is the more He manifests himself in your life.
God wants to have relationship with you.
He wants to put all that he is in you.
He wants to bless you with all blessing in heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3).
It so pleases God to give us his blessings, he prepared his kingdom just for us who believe (Matthew 25:34; Luke 12:32).
It is in the heart of God to bless us with his kingdom, not just in heaven, but also on earth.
Then how does one activate God’s blessings?
We have to claim them through Jesus Christ and receive them as they are revealed through revelation in the Word (Ephesians 1:17-23).
You hear or learn something about God or Jesus and you respond to it.
The Spirit of God will guide you in its truth and confirm through the Word, preaching, or talking to you, that what you have learned is truth.
Your response to this truth draws you closer to God and added blessings in your life. The more you respond to revelation the more you are blessed by God.
Living a holy life committed to the Lord Jesus Christ helps produce God’s blessing in your life. God separates himself from sin. When we are living in unconfessed sin, God holds himself back from the sin though he still wants fellowship with us. This sin keeps back the flow of his blessings (Isaiah 59:1-2).
Living holy as he is holy pleases God and results are His blessings being manifested out of his pleasure (1Peter 1:16; 1Thessalonians 4:7).
3. Blessed to be a Blessing
It becomes very exciting when we start seeing the blessings of God manifesting in our lives.
You start experiencing unexplained favor from people that never gave you the time of day. You begin noticing your income seems to go further in the past few months than it did before.
Progression in your career is finally happening.
Your family seems to becoming closer and you all get along better than before.
Life is just not as hard as it used to be.
When you stop to consider, “Why is this happening all of the sudden?” You realize the changes have been developing since you and your family started living closer to God. Being saved by faith in Jesus Christ and learning to live more holy has really made a difference in your family’s life. You realize making revelation from the Bible your standard of living has helped to bring great blessing in your life.
One of God’s promises is that a faithful person will abound with blessings (Proverbs 28:20). He has called us into a life where we are to inherit blessings from him (1Peter 3:9).
As you learn what the fruit of the spirit is (Galatians 5:22) you allow the Holy Spirit to work this fruit into your personality.
Blessings are not to be held on to but passed on.
Because we are blessed by God we can be a blessing in all that we do. In appreciation for what God has done for us we should use all we are and have to make sure others are blessed.
In this way we are being faithful to God and his promises, ensuring we continue to be blessed. Our motivation changes from being blessed to those of whom we can bless.
We can only bless people with what we have.
Use your car to help someone get places when they do not have a car.
Use your home to be a blessing to all that come in your doors.
When you see a person in need use what you have to fill that need.
Be the blessing for those around you.
If you are in line to check out in a store and the woman in front of you is digging in her purse for the right change, help by giving her what is already in your hand, your dollar bill.
Reach out to people in need; though the need may not be serious, just be Jesus Christ to all around you. Touch people for the soul sake of touching them in their need.
Then you will become their blessing. This is why we are here as Christian people, be the blessing. God has richly blessed us beyond measure, let's reach out to those around us and be the blessing they need.
